The italian fashion Brand Basile was very popular in the seventies and some of its sunglasses became iconic.
Basile eyewear was designed by Paolo Seminara, the legendary founder of Vogue. This gold and yellow frame comes with a slightly cat eye shape.
Basile does not produce eyewear anymore, so these frames are very rare.

Due to the reason that through the years acetate deformes, the glasses (especially temples) are not perfectly symmetrical. Any optician can easily fix it with very little effort, by heating up the acetate and molding it to give the glasses a symmetrical shape again.
